It seems every drawer in our kitchen has become my husband's junk drawer, filled with pliers, screwdrivers, and all other sorts of odd and ends.

We moved away from a junk drawer and got a stacking plastic thing that sits in the corner of the kitchen counter. It has two plastic bins stacked on one another and a top to keep things in. Much better than my husband using up all the drawers, plus we can add more layers if needed.

I usually have only 1 junk drawer, but I do like -Kira- idea for junk. I think I'm going to go get one soon.

So funny that I came across this post. My family and I were just having a discussion about junk drawers. I'm OCD when it comes to organizing and having a place for everything, so I personally don't believe in junk drawers. Lol! My mom on the other hand puts all kinds of random things in one of the kitchen drawers. I'm constantly going behind her and cleaning out that one drawer. It's become a pretty comical situation in our house.
