I have 3 Avacado Trees that I started from pits between one and two years ago, they're still short enough to need an end table for height! Then, I have a Pothos hanging at the top of my staircase overlooking my downstairs living room, it has a couple of vines that stretch the full length of the top floor and are hanging into the room below.

Then there is my kitchen window, the only window in the house that gets proper light to really grow anything! I have 2 tiny Aloe Vera plants that I've been growing from seed since Christmas 2010 (they are still under an inch tall though), a "Burning Love Bush" that has been going for over a year, it is also still pretty tiny though, it needs a larger planter! I also have a Stevia plant that fared the winter pretty well inside! I bought it last spring and it spent the summer outside, then got moved inside in September and has been happy to live in my window ever since. Lastly, I just bought myself a "palm-like" plant that I have yet to identify...I paid $2.97 for it at Winco and it's labeled "Misc greenery" from a local greenhouse, lol.

I've always liked the "cheap" plants, because then I don't feel bad when I kill them and if they thrive, I have the luxury of a gorgeous plant for super cheap! I paid a whopping $0.75 for my Pothos last year at WalMart because it was nearly dead and only had 4 leaves left. I transferred it into a nice big hanging planter and away it went after a few weeks of "recovery" in my kitchen window!

We are both way into plants, so we usually have a bunch growing around the house. I'm not sure how many exactly but it's probably in the 20+ range and once we start up our seeds for the garden in our makeshift growing room (aka. utility room with extra lightning) we'll definitely be in the 20+ range.

I had ferns at my front door and all around my pool, but alas... they are dead. I buy new ones every year.

I find bonsai, bamboo, and fly traps to be very intriguing

2. They live outside most of the time, but sometimes I bring them in. One is a sweet potato plant named Yamantha, and the other is an aloe plant named Vera (I have a strange sense of humor, I know).

At least 4-6. 3 are those long lasting leaf plants from my grandmother's funeral. Rest used to belong to my great gram. Only one is actually mine, but they are all still in my home.

None. I don't have a green thumb and I always forget about plants and don't water them so they die. They're too high maintenance lol. My mother keeps trying to give us a Christmas Cactus, but I'm pretty sure I could manage to kill it. At least pets remind you when they're hungry so you can't really forget to feed them! Plants just sit there. :/
