How closely do you follow the recommended 3000 miles between changes?

We push the 3000 mile mark, but it's not a huge deal.

Believe it or not, my car tells me when to do it. I get 5500-6000 miles between changes..

Most newer cars are actually 5000 miles (Honda) up to 7000 miles in some cars. Follow owners manual for trouble free driving. Oil is the lifeblood of a car.
