How often do you type a huge reply to something and then delete it?

I do it all the time, and I was just wondering how often everyone else does this.


I'll type out a several paragraph response, and realize I either sound like an asshole or feel like I don't seem intelligent and delete the whole thing and close the tab. lol


Who else does this?

I've done it quite a few times. I usually sigh to myself, shake my head, and hit delete... I'm not sure why I back of from putting in my two cents sometimes though?

I usually dont do that. I dont think that I ever have.

I don't type quite that much, but I definitely will type something long and then just delete it and not reply. I just don't feel confident in my reply.

HATE when that happens! Yes, I do it all the time. So much that sometimes I even hit copy/paste before I send lengthy messages! I've learned my lesson. Man it aggravates me when that happens!

I don't do this. I usually (key word being "usually") think out what I want to say a few times before I type it. If after a few think overs I still like it, I post it. Sometimes I may come off as a bitch, but that's just how I am. I try to word things as politely as possible while still getting a point across if I'm upset or disagree with something.

I don't do this on this web site, but I do this a lot with e-mails. If I'm really pissed off at someone I'll type what I want to tell them, then delete it and type something more appropriate.

Probably about half the times I go to post, I usually type out something unnecesarily long and then whittle it down before I hit the post button.
Then there's topics where I just cancel posting entirely because I'm not entirely sure what to say. x_x
