I've heard that over washing your hair can really damage it, though I know if you guys are anything like me, I can't stand for my hair to be the slightest bit dirty or not smell like flowers. I have to resist running to take a shower and wash my hair, sometimes.

If it's down, I wash it every other day. If it's up in a bun, I can usually wait three or four days.

My hair stylist recommends once every two weeks. I can't make it that long. I can go just about a week before I can't deal with it anymore.

Generally if you wash your hair everyday then you're hair will start to expect that and get icky faster. If you want to wash it less, try extending by one day at a time. So every other day for a while, then every three days. That's what I did and now my hair looks pretty much the same for 5-6 days.

Depends on what you mean by wash. The last time I've used product would be in march, but I use baking soda an apple cider vinegar.

My friend did that for over a year and saw absolutely no change in her hair, so I see it as a pointless process

My hair is really long, and I use to wash it everytime I showered. After having my kids, my hair is very dry, so I tend to wash it every other day.
