Wow, where do i start? Maybe with the very small, singular event that got this huge, happy snowball rolling down hill. Yep, great place to start!!
Friday:
--I received a phone call from a person I was friends with about 22 years ago. She is in town for the day and would love to pay me back the $1500.00 she has owed me all this time. I loaned it to her so she had a deposit, first and last month's rent when she moved from her soon t be ex's home.
--My gas gauge was below empty , but I made it to the gas station.
--My 9 week old puppy has not had an accident in the house or in my business for 4 days!! She comes running when I call and she knows that 'no' means "NO-stop now!!"
Saturday:
--My husband wants to remarry me this summer. We will renew our vows and again, it will just be the two of us at our wedding. No family or friends. Just us, the pastor and 2 unknown witnesses. Then---Barbeque and bonfire time!! We will have another huge barbeque for all our friends and family, they will not know the occasion until after they arrive. We do not want the presents, hassle or obligation of telling each person separately.
Today:
My husband and I just got back from going to a few yard sales. I spent $31.00 on purchases that will sell for around $940.00!!!! My husband spent $50.00 on purchases and his antique and vintage tool collection has grown by 5 normally very expensive power tools with their original boxes. OH--we also purchased another Indian Mini Dirt Bike, an 80cc. For $125.00--resale would be around $1900-2500--but we are keeping it to go with our other two.
AND--When I read the forums yesterday, I was the first avatar that showed up on the voting for the COTM (Contributor of the Month)!!!! What an exciting and motivating honor!! I am beside myself for just being nomm'ed--I can't even imagine being voted in as such!! The other nominations are all such amazing and wonderful people--it just makes it such a larger honor to be included with them for this title.
SO--Let's celebrate, and while we are at it--SHARE YOUR OWN GOOD NEWS & HAPPENINGS THIS WEEKEND!!!
