My phone is a must as is my purse. I have to say working nights has left me trying to leave a few times missing some key things. Recently I was heading out and got down a few steps to think "this doesn't feel right...where's my bra?". I felt so stupid, trying to nap before my shift so I could make it the whole night and I forgot something like that. My boy friend is always quick to laugh at me, but you know there's something you don't want to leave without, even if you hate it.

I always end up eating in class. Especially my night class. It's three hours but we get a break. I remember once my professor leaned over and asked in a low tone if it'd be a bad idea for him to get an apple and eat it in class. I scoffed and told him, "Dude, I have a soda in my purse, and I'm planning on making a run to the C-store to get something to eat."

I also, put down cell and cash, but ocassionally I leave them at home because I "forgot," like when I'm avoiding people texting or calling me when I was busy. I did this when my roommates were fighting and tried bitching at me about it. I told them I didn't want to be involved, but they didn't get the hint. Oops. Also, I don't carry cash or my card if I'm going to a place where I know I'll have to buy something and I really shouldn't.

I didn't see an other option..every poll needs one right?

It depends on where I'm going. If I'm going to visit a friend, I take my purse. If I'm running to the store, I just take my keys, sunglasses and cash.

Unfortunately, you can't edit a poll after it's up.

For me, it's wallet, keys, and sunglasses. When I feel like driving around to get out of the apartment (I only leave a couple times a week) I bring the GPS with me...just in case.

I only take what goes in my wallet, basically, as well as my cell phone in my pocket and the house keys. If I take extra things with me I grab my backpack and put it all in there, but that's usually when I ride my bike to a store to shop or when going to my friends' houses.

Before leaving the house I tend to stand at the door and do a checklist in my head to make sure I have what i need. It helps me so I don't run all through the house checking everything.

Also, before leaving i tend to put things on the counter i'll be taking with me anyway, so then I just grab it and go.

Every day I actually say out loud as I check pockets and purse "ok. wallet. smokes. lighter. shades. key. phone." I dont know why I say it out loud. But I do. If i dont i will surely forget something and that pisses me off because I will have to turn around to get it and miss my bus.

I always have my purse on me, and in it I make sure to have my ID, debit card wallet, Keys hang on the outside, and I keep a small thing of lotion in it just incase my skin dries out; I can't be looking like a raisin in front of a hot guy lol.

I've got a fairly big purse that's generally packed with all the main things at all times. I just have to augment it with a bottle of water or whatever extra stuff I'll need for the specific outing and do a double check that the wallet, cellphone & keys are in fact in their designated purse pockets.
