I'm not really bothered by people abbreviating their words, I guess they're so used to texting, they just apply it everywhere else.

The abbreviating doesn't bother me so much anymore, because I know that is never going to change. The thing I hate most is seeing facebook updates that say "I'm so board." Really? You are a slab of wood?

I used to have an icon that flashed between various common misspellings. It seemed to rile people up quite a bit so I stopped using it in my blog, but I still chuckle every time I see it on someone else's blog.
