I would like us to pay tribute to those we love and miss who are absent from our holidays this year.....

Like many of you, our family and circle of friends are smaller this year do to the deaths of loved ones. I think it is important to remember them, pay tribute to their memory and let them know we miss and love them whether they are with us in person or in spirit. (And huge hugs and sympathy to those who lost a loved one--stay strong and keep them forever in your heart!!)

For those people we lost this past year:

My father in law was an intelligent and very awesome person to be around. We will miss him dearly this holiday and I will always appreciate his help when I got in my car accident. He was in the third vehicle to arrive on the scene and was working but pulled the truck over and helped me and then took my husband to the hospital.

My drooling kitty--she would sit in front of the oven and drool the whole time the Turkey was roasting! My Shih Tzus--big personalities in such tiny dogs--sorry you little ones were abused by assholes early on in life, but you learned to love and be loved in our home! My Basset hound--Ihave no one to howl at me or make me laugh with those sad eyes and loving kisses.

For my best friend's oldest son--you are a very loved and missed young man, 24 is too young to die from an aneurism!!

Instantly teared up. I have tried not to think of my Mom and Dad all day today. Saw your title and lost it.
It's tough being alone and thousands of miles away from your family, even harder when there no longer with us.
It's days like this I just wish I could go for a very long walk and be alone for a day.
I'm thankfull for all I have, but it's harder when 50% of me is missing.
