I'm thinking about buyiing a new bra. I'm a 32 C do you think I should get a 36B if I plan on losing weight?

do u think these bras are good everyday wear or just for in the bedroom? I always wonder if something titled lingerie isn't that great as everyday wear. I mean some obviously isn't..but I think these looks good...

Breasts are comprised of fat and milk glands, so it is likely you will lose boob, too, while losing fat (my mother went from a 44DD to a 30A when she had major weight loss). Some are able to escape it, depending on genetics.

The problem with 'boob-loss' from losing excess weight is that it's different for every woman. You may lose boob first, or you may lose ribcage fat first. I found in my own weight loss I had gone from 42DD, 40DD, and now 40D. Trying to 'anticipate' by buying the next logical size is hit-or-miss - you'll just have to measure and buy what would fit.

BTW - the numbers of a bra size are the measurements (approximate) around your ribcage just under your breasts. The letter indicates how many inches more your breasts measure than your ribcage. A = 1 inch, B = 2 inches, C = 3 inches, etc.

hmm..well I decided I really want link

in the first color and 3rd of the bra then matching panties and a few extra....I Could hope in a month or 2 they are still there..I REALLY like them. once my precision scale gets here next week Ican weight myself..I'm losing weight by watching wat I eat.someday I HOPE I will be working out so that probly means some more weight loss. I can see where my chest is in 10 lbs weight loss..then after that I wouldn't need to lose much more t he rest would have to be from an active lifestyle and being lean and fit. Someday if I'm not stuck have 10 bm's everyday then sqeezing in eating shower and go to work.

wait I mean this week lol my scale will be here tuesday or wensday

Most likely, 10 lbs wouldn't make that much difference and it may or may not affect your bra size.
However, I cannot see you going from 32C to 36B. That would mean that your ribcage (band size) increase four inches while your boobs themselves got smaller. More likely if you did need a different size it would be either a t 32B or 30C.

Was that a typo? Did you mean go from a 32C to a 32B? If you do mean go from a 32C to a 36B it is very unlikely to increase that much in the ribcage while losing weight..

In terms of will you loose the boobs.. well that depends on your body type. Example: two friends both approx 120 pounds. One girls measurements are 5-7, 32C-24-36 The other girls measurement are 5-5, 34C-25-35 They both lose approximately 10 pounds. New measurements: 5-7 30B-24-36 and 5-5 34C-24-34 Tall girl lost it in the Boobs... shorter girl lost it in the waist and hips....

*true story*

So assuming that it will come out of your boobs is not always good practice.. it could come out of your hips

I'm trying to lose weight also. I have gone from a 42 DD to 38 D, so far. The bras look good for day wear.

I'm not sure about specific bra recommendations, but if you're planning on losing a significant amount of weight -- anywhere from 20 to 50 lbs., depending on your starting weight -- you can definitely expect to lose a bit of the girls. I personally have lost 135 lbs., and have gone from a 46DDD to a 36DD. However, I'd be a D if it weren't for the loose skin around my breasts (hopefully that'll all snap up!).

If I lose or gain so much as 10 pounds I have to change bra sizes.

Oddly, my breasts stay within a half a cup size, even with up to a 40 lb weight gain or loss. I hoover between a 36 B+ and usually a 36 or 28C+. Losing weight doesn't effect my breasts much.

It's usually the last place I lose. My grandmother said women like us are like that because of all the pasta we eat. (And so did Sofia Lauren.) Who knows?

I've always found that buying clothes in anticipation of losing weight isn't a good idea. You may or may not lose the weight, you don't know how your body will change. Either buy the size you are now, or wait until you have actually lost the weight and stabilized. (I always gain at least a few lbs, after losing some, and most people do stabilize for months after losing weight.)

All bodies are different. Some people (like myself) when they gain or lose weight, gain or lose it all in their upper half, but others gain or lose it in their lower half. Pretty much all my weight goes to boobs and tummy, but others gain it in the butt or thighs, etc. Some people are really lucky and lose it evenly all throughout their bodies. So I suppose just think about where you tend to fluctuate and yeah But like P'Gell said, you may also want to wait just to be on the safe side.

Also, I love the first link you posted and I would definitely wear that every day!

Everyone is a little different. When I stopped eating meat and started exercising (maybe excessively) in my teens, I dropped maybe 10 lbs and a cup size. I lost a few more pounds recently and I fear I lost a little more breast. They'll disappear soon! :0

When I lose weight (or gain weight), it's always in my boobs first. That's the first place I notice any change. It could just be me, but that's the way it's always been.

I'd wait until you lose the weight honestly. Even if a bra is on clearance it's not worth the money if you won't ever be able to wear it.

I have always yoyo-ed with my weight. And the smaller I get, my breasts are one of the first parts of my body to get smaller. So, I imagine that your breasts shall get smaller too. However, I would not buy a bra from when you lose weight until you lose weight - you need to be positive on the measurements.
