What is YOUR favorite items to find when first walking into a party? Fruit and Cheese? Nuts? Tiny sandwiches? Little meatball skewers? (Remember..there WILL be dinner shortly), Crackers with spread?

Stuffed mushrooms, maybe some crackers with stuff on them at a formal dinner party. Mini sandwiches look too prepped for just a "while we're milling about, here's some food!" kind of deal, and meatballs are too filling. Party mix and chips and dip are more casual in my opinion. Fruit can be good, but I picture it as an outdoorsy party thing (like, something to come get when you take a break from the heat outside.)

Definitely stuffed mushrooms, maybe deviled eggs?
