js250 -- Scotland is amazing. If you ever get the chance to go, go! I've been 3 times so far (in just over a year!) and have a visit planned to go back in June. To be fair, I go there so frequently because that's where the boy lives, but...still. It's amazing!

Africa

1) for the rain forests because I love lightning and they have the most strikes of anywhere on the globe (all the nature that is there is cool too, but not as awesome as lightning)

2) for the hunting because I want to hunt something that could kill me back if I screwed up at all.

I've never visited my family in Europe before. I'd love to go - hopefully with plenty of time to study the language beforehand.

I would love to go to Transylvania, just because it seems so exotic to me, and the pictures I've seen are gorgeous.

Tahiti would be fun, as would Hawaii.

I have a whole list of places I want to visit. Italy is at the top of my all time list. However, right his moment, I would want to be in Cancun for a nice relaxing beach trip.

Caribbean..and am going at the end of the month! Other than that, I would love to visit Italy, where my dad came from. I had the idea just today for my dad, my son, and me to go when my son turns three, for our birthdays (we're all August birthdays...well my son is still in my tummy but he's due in August.) Hopefully that works out, would be a wonderful experience.

This is an Ernest Hemingway moment I have planned for the near future.

You will find me on the Serengeti Dessert at sunset. I have a white canvas tent behind me. I am sitting on an old wooden folding chair, alongside a similar style card table. Served before me is an ice cold martini with two olives. The sky is a gorgeous blue and orange color, with wisps’ of clouds passing slowly by. I can feel hardly a breeze stirring. The temperature is warm, almost hot. Just warm enough, so that I savor each sip. As I gaze upon the endlessly expansive African dessert, I behold the Wildebeest migrating as a herd of nearly two million. The numbers of Wildebeest is so large that you are unable to discern an end, or beginning. Amongst the Wildebeest are hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle. I am in awestruck by the sight. It causes me to pause and imagine that this might have been what it was like when the Buffalo migrated across the Great Plains. I continue to sip my martini, sadly acknowledging that this is a once in a life time experience. Soon the magnificent Wildebeest will go the way of our great Buffalo. I’m sad, but I’m also very appreciative of the moment.

I've done both. If it's a choice between the two continents, I would choose Australia. The natural wonders and diversity of Australia are not to be compared. The food, the wine, and the ale are to die for. The people are so friendly that you feel right at home. If your limited to only speaking English, no worry mate.

Japan is my next spot. I want to hike Mt' Fuji, brush up on my Japanese, in general experience something totally different. And try to visit the seed bead factories.
