It would be a self defeating situation. I'm guessing a fair few would say they'd want a fair and democratic government, and society as a whole. Yet, it's not really fair if that's being dictated by one single, all powerful person.

Improve the infrastructure, increase regulation to ensure that hyperinflation and housing bubbles were less likely, and then mandatory voting for the next election

we the voters can fix the problems, but they will take some hard decisions that need to be made. Most people cant make those decisions, they would rather whine about everyone else not fixing the problems or being part of it. Government got us into this situation, with we the people letting them abuse the power.
