If I had a million dollars/I'd buy you a green dress/But not a real green dress, that's cruel

I can pinch pennies like a mo-fo so I would be buying a house, stock in EdenFantasys, and a reliable *cough* environmentally friendly car and pay off my mom's house with some money left over that would be invested in getting a degree in sex therapy.

Given the choices I would buy EF Since it has an actual generated income I can get the rest of what I want with that.

One million though? I would (in reality) donate 500K to a charity (most likely St. Jude Children's Hospital, then I would buy a home in a nice area, pay off student loans, put money away for my kids' college, and invest the remainder for retirement. Sorry y'all, I am a bit of a realist, and I know how I would actually spend a lottery winning

well I live at m parents house I am sick so much with ibs I can't work many hours so I couldn't afford to pay bills,even if I could work more I couldn't afford a house I'd get health insurance and a car probly

I was just thinking that if I had a large quantity of spare cash I'd see about buying Jollies before they go out of business. With their unique designs, it's a real loss to the toy market to see them go under.

For myself, I'm pretty well set for material goods, but I'd probably hire someone to do all the tedious crap that eats up my free time, and then I'd get my novel done sooner rather than later.

flying car definitely. Me and my BF both want one. We saw that a company called terrafugia was supposed to be selling them soon and now we are obsessed

I'm really happy that flying car was an option.

I don't know. I'd probably pay off my house which I don't really owe a lot on and my mom's house. Think I'd want a in ground swimming pool and a maid My entire wish lists would be nice too and a bigger boat for hubby. Somewhere in there I'd have to invest in something to ensure my million doesn't run out lol

Expensive 'toys' never appealed to me. Status symbols are declasse and get one targeted by the criminal element.

Pay off bills and debts, education so I can get a well-paying job, decent home and vehicle, a bit of travel, some investment, some comforts, mostly enrich community services that spend the money correctly and not line their pockets with 'administration fees'.

That is an awesome answer. If everyone in the world were that kind, it would be a much better place.

I voted a House, but I would also donate a big chunk as well after I bought items that I need. I'm living with my parents because money is tight, so I could really use a few things! But first and foremost, definitely a house!!

I want the car because then I could pocket the other 750k and put it into an account Throw 100k into a bunch of different accounts at a few credit unions, and that money will be almost doubled in a few years! If I kept letting the interest just build up then I will easily be able to get all of these things in a short while.

First I'd want a house, in the middle of nowhere with no people around. We'd get married, and be hermits and have our own garden and animal rescue, and live in our own rainforrest. Any money we didn't need, we'd donate to those who really NEED it.

I would move us all into a nice house in either Canada or US. Then I would get all the stuff from EF that I have been wanting.
