All the time! I hate them. They find a spot to sit and then just blast their music for hours. It's creepy, irritating and probably ineffective for their business.

Ours tends to speed through the neighborhood and nobody can catch him. At least the music warns the kids to get out of the street before he runs over them.

We have never had them here.....too small of an area where it is populated. I thought of one a few years ago, but there is no way with the cost of gas....

Yes! They do in our area in the Summer and Spring time, but not extremely often. I remember last year they actually stopped by our house asking if we wanted a slushee -- yea, I don't think ours do ice cream, only slushees. I've never seen them with actual pop sicles or anything and I think last year, it was a couple who ran the truck. Anyways, last Summer we were having a party at my parent's and my dad came and found me and my mom in the kitchen and handed us these HUGE cups of slushees! He said he didn't know which flavor I'd like, so he just got them all -- a very flavorful mixture! Lol. It took us all evening to finish them, but it was so sweet of him.

I think every place should have an icee or ice cream truck. Now that I think about it though, it seems like they were pretty expensive for just syrup and ice...

Yep, we do. Actually, last summer my boyfriend drove an ice cream truck for a cab company. He loved it!

We have a Hispanic family that has ice cream bikes. It is seriously a bike with a bad ass cooler on the front. They pedal through the neighborhoods selling ice cream and different Mexican treats. I kid you not, the best damn thing off of those bikes is a coconut cream pop that I can't read the label on. It's like a pina colada on a stick.


We also have a few ice cream trucks, as a matter of fact... I just saw one rolling through the neighborhood yesterday. I thought that was odd because it was only 55 degrees yesterday afternoon, but he was damn sure selling some frozen confections!

Yes we do. However, no one stops them, so I don't know how they stay in business.
