Or, is anyone else sick of politics of division? All this pitting one group against the other, people are going to be so alienated, how will we move forward?

Um, fire them all. Destroy all documents containing contradictory laws and close all the loopholes. Reduce their salaries from $100k+ to minimum wage - after all it's a service position they are holding - and tell them to get the fuck over themselves.
