I like to wear boots with skirts and dresses, but my mom always makes a comment about how boots are out of season during the warmer months when I actually wear skirts, and it makes me feel self conscious so I don't end up wearing them as often as I'd like

I love boots with shorts and dresses, but I don't really wear them with shorts. If I get a new pair of cowboy boots, I'd be willing to wear those with jean shorts, but that's pretty much the only time that I think that boots and shorts are acceptable.

Yes, I love skirt and boots. However, I really dislike skirts (or shorts) and winter boots like Ugg boots. It seems to be a really big trend where I am from and I think it looks ridiculous.

Begrudgingly no. I have short, muscular legs and I have yet to find a pair of tall boots that will zip all the way! I know plus size boots exist but since I'm not plus sized it would hurt my ego to buy them!

any other big calved ladies here? haha
