If a law enforcement officer approaches you, do you trust them more, less, or equal to, a civilian stranger? Do you feel safer at night if you're out and about and see patrol cars and officers?

I'm cautious around anyone I don't know. I guess I'm generally less worried about cops than I am about random strangers. I'm glad to see police on the street--but I'm still cautious. If a cop wants to talk to me, of course I'll talk to them, but it'll be "just the facts".
