Suggestions for lipstick brands?

I love the retro fifties look, so I love red lipstick. It always fades or smears though. Does anyone have any suggestions for a brand that maybe will cut back on fade?

When doing really red lips I love to start with Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in Wild Berry Wink, then apply Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Very Cherry and top it with a gloss.

Limecrime make's great long wear lipstick's, the link I provided has a lipstick that dries to a matt red in two shades. They also have high pigment red lipsticks and glosses.
