Used to be a time that lunch in a cafeteria...but it at school or work, always found a table full of co-workers or friends sitting together and socializing. Now, I often see people, at a table made for four or six people, but sitting alone (and not wanting company, from the looks of it), with their noses in their smart phone, or tablets, either texting away.reading email, or web surfing.

What do you do at lunch time?

I put other. I work at home so I just grab a bite from the kitchen. But when I go into the office I like to make lunch plans with coworkers.

I only eat lunch out with my family or friends. The few times I have gone alone there's always someone I find annoying also eating alone that thinks they need to join me and I'm too nice to say no. It does not however keep me from zoning out on the conversation

I eat alone and read or check emails. I don't wan't to eat with my co-workers because I am half their age and I don't care to spend more time with them then I am forced to in general.
