Liquid graphite is ideal, though both smudge on my hand because I am left-handed. :/

definitely pen! I'm not a big pencil fan. I'm an artist, but I usually draw digitally, it's easier for me to transition back to traditional drawing with pens because they're closer to what I'm use to drawing with than pencils.

If it's a good pen then always pen over pencil but I like a fine point with a smooth flowing ink. If it's between a standard ballpoint pen and a pencil, pencil please!

I used to not care...then my man made me in to a total pen snob. Not only does it have to be pen, it has to be a NICE pen. haha

Definitely a pen. My handwriting SUCKS when using a pencil. I can't figure out why though.
