I have shows people online pictures of my stash, (easier said than done, it is usually hidden away, only take it out a couple times a year to totally reorganize)

I have shown mine to my best friends, but My Son snooped around in our bedroom and found EVERYTHING and decided to show and tell all of his friends. Makes for an uncomfortable situation when he has company now. I see and hear a lot of smiling, laughing and snickering when he and his friends are in the same room with Me and My Husband. I might as well forget about hiding them. I have even moved them a few times...they always find them. I might as well display them on the kitchen table. It bothered and embarassed me at first, but I don't care anymore.

Oddly enough, I'd show just about anyone examples of what I might own or have used and explain the merits of using it, if someone specifically asks me or brings it up. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to specifically show them that I own these items.

We have shown one or two of our close friends our little stash, but to be honest, we would love to have friends that are a lot more open to discussing toys and outfits and all that fun stuff without them getting embarrassed because we don't! haha
Along the same lines, I found my mums stash at 9 years old and only realised it about 4 years after the fact, and I have stumbled across my partners mums and sisters stashes, her mum knows we did and didn't bother moving it or getting embarrassed and her sister doesn't know lol

I've only ever showed my toy collection to my current partner. Though that was a lot for her to take in. So it was a bit of a jarring experience for both of us. So.... i don't think i'll be showing it to anyone else very soon...
