Perfume Headaches

Does anyone else get these or is it just me? My husband said he's never heard of such a thing, but I get the WORST migraines from some perfumes. It started at age 12 when a bottle of perfume busted on our tile floor... Almost died!

This happens to me too. I had to complain to a coworker's boss to get her to stop wearing hers because I was leaving early every day with a migraine from hers. Certain ones will set my migraines off something awful. I'm pretty sure this is common with migraine sufferers. I get asked it a lot by my migraine doctors, so I've always assumed many people with migraines are set off by perfumes.

Sometimes I do, but it really depends on the perfume. It happens more for me with super floral scents. You're not alone!

I don't suffer from migraines, but perfume tends to bother me a lot. As does scented air freshener crap.

OMG!! YES!! Very strong, oily or permeating perfumes, are horrible to me. The Cake perfume smelled good, but gave me a headache in 5 minutes.

I get them too omg I hate them. I get them when someone is wearing some nasty ass perfume. Or it is just to strong.

I get the really bad headaches from 1) Floral perfumes and 2) Cigarette smoke. They are equally bad to me. These headaches are almost instantaneous and take forever to go away.

They don't trigger migraines for me, though. They are bad, but I've had migraines, and they are much *MUCH* worse.
