I don't have any pets right now, but I have had a variety throughout my life. I've had fish, hamsters, turtles, dogs, and rat. Rats are my favorite by far.

We have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 3 chickens! The cats live inside (only), the chickens live outside (in their own space), and the dog sleeps inside and is free to go out anytime we are home. I'd love to add a couple of Sebastopol geese to the mix, but they are just too noisy for our "middle of the city" home!

I love cats! I have two, but I know I'd love to have a dog when I'm able -- house situation isn't the best for dogs. I also love keeping aquariums! I have 3 right now, with neon tetras, 1 betta, lots of orange platys and a breeding tank of cory cats (my favorites).

but - i do have 4 doggies 3 eskimo/sheltie mix which are the sweetest, fluffiest, most intelligent dogs ever. and a pit/rott mix who is an enormous BABY
oh, and several fish tanks with various cichlids, some of which are over 10 years old.

I love cats and dogs, but I voted other — because I never feel like we OWN living creatures; if they're here, they're part of the family, definitely not possessions. You could say they "own" us as much as we "own" them!
