That's really interesting, because I found the more disturbing content to be the REASON I was able to watch the movie all the way through.

Normally we get so distracted by the sex that we end up paying attention to each other and forgetting all about the movie. I was really enjoying the film and watching to watch it all the way to the end to see what happens!

My only complaint, really, is the same thing I complain about with most porno - the sound mixing was just plain bad. I really had to struggle to understand what everyone was saying.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. I got a great blowjob when we watched the wife swap one, but during Sanitorium we just sat there and were too busy trying to make sense of the random images on the screen to get up to any fun. (I don't think ZT is marketing it right.. it's an art film, not a couples' film.)

Echoing Alicia's and Isabel0329's sentiments, I liked the premise of Sanatorium, too, but didn't feel like most of the movie reflected the premise. I was confused by some events and wasn't sure about the significance of others. Glad she caught the guy on film at the end though.

I guess I take a different approach to porn than most. I'm not in it for the "popshots." I'm in it for more developed plot and a premise with hot sex thrown in as well. Maybe a 60% sex / 40% acting split. For me, my brain is my largest sexual organ.

Yeah I had a really hard time with the background music through the entire movie. It was a deterrent for me.
