This is something that has ALWAYS bothered me. I don't want to offend anyone, but, I mean - when you get a dog, you get one knowing outright that you will be required to scoop in most places, depending where you live. In my opinion, if you're not up to the task, you should get another pet which doesn't require you to scoop (fish, hermit crab, pet rock etc). It grosses me out that people don't take care of their dogs messes.

Yes, it's against the law not to (in some states/cities/counties ) and rude as fuck not to. I was a dog walker and cleaned up after each dog that did it's business with no problem. Many of the owners were like "you don't have to! Your job is just to walk them."

If you're going to have a dog, clean up after it. Honestly, I would sue/issue warnings to owners who let their animals poop on my lawn/property. I would actually own a very quiet/vicious dog that would hate other dogs that I don't own just to keep it in my yard...just so people know that if my dog kills yours, I don't care. People are super rude about it but like their cute little dogs...and I don't get that. People would seriously know if I hated them and their dog. I don't care if they don't poop in my lawn (since I have a fence) but if I see them being a lazy dog owner, I will get offended. If someone's dog came and crapped all over their lawn/property they'd get mad too.

You want the animal but you're not going to clean up after it. That's like having a kid and not taking care of it.

I do see people carrying around bags for decoration or because their leash comes with a place to put bags, but they don't clean up after their dogs. It sorta blows my mind but people are just lazy.

I don't own a dog, but if I did I would clean up after it. People who do not clean up after their dogs anger me. This is part of responsible pet ownership. I clean my cats' litter box every other day. If you own a dog, scoop after it.

I have cats but there are alot of people who walk their dog in my neighborhood and then NEVER pick it up when it is done in my yard. I'm going to make a big "No dog poop" sign to put in my yard! Its so aggravating!!!

The only time I don't clean up after is if I forgot my pickup bags. When that has happened in the past, I would go back home, get a bag, go back to the poo and clean it up. I pretty much never forget my pickup bags anymore! That was a real hassle!

When I have a dog I clean up after them. I have told on my neighbor a couple of times because his dog has came and pooped over by my side of the yard. It is nasty and he has a big dog so you know the bigger the dog the bigger they shit. It really gets on my nerves that some times he picks up after him and sometimes he does not.

We don't have a dog anymore - but when we did, we picked up after it. Although I guess my kids did not likely do it every time.

No, I pick up after my dog. And if someone doesn't pick up after their dog I chase them down and make them pick it up.

We live in the deep country and 'walk' our dogs in the mountains--so, no. I would if we lived in town though--and do on trips when we have to stop at a populated area/stop.

Never. I always have a few poop bags in my pocket, and I always pick up after him immediately, I even bring along tissues to wipe his behind right away. My neighbors do not have to worry about my dog pooping on their lawns, because I have my pooch on leash, and I do not allow him to tread on people's lawns.

I don't walk my dog. She hates other dogs and there are so many it doesn't make the walk very good for either of us. She's also 13 so she's getting old. When I did walk her I always cleaned up after her but that was years ago.

I don't have dogs anymore but when I did, I always cleaned up after them, unless we were in remote woods, in which case I'd use a couple of sticks to toss the waste well off the trail.

Yes, always. Though if I'm walking them in my yard, or in the woods, rare do I. I'll clean up my own yard if I'm having people over, but if I'm in the woods, why would I?

It's always made me very mad through the years when people would walk their dog and let it poo in my yard and walk off... I'd get mad that they'd leave THEIR dog's poo for ME to clean up. Now that I have my little bugger boo I make sure to clean up after him, even if it's 2am!
