I recently broke my hand at work. Besides a cast, are there any ways of speeding up the recovery process?

OUCH! Keeping it elevated (if your Dr. says to) and managing pain are two of the best ways to help speed recovery. Ignoring or trying to "soldier" through pain actually slows recovery, so take it easy and rest as much as possible.
Hope you get to feeling better soon Big healing hugs

Hope ...
Took the words right out of my mouth.

It probably wouldn't hurt to up your calcium intake until it heals, either. I hope you feel better soon!

Do NOT eat spinach, broccoli or other iron rich greens. My doctor told me about that when I broke my ribs. They hinder the healing of bones. Seriously, I laughed but looked into it and was surprised--but it is true!!

Sorry for the late reply. I'm a makeup artist and I slipped during a shoot.
