What school subjects would you like to learn now?

Contributor: Wicked Wahine Wicked Wahine
As I look back on my schooling, I regret not learning more about some things, but I was overloaded as it was & don't see how I could have crammed in anything more. Still, I can't help thinking about what I would also like to have learned.

What would you like to learn now? Or subjects in which you regret not paying better attention? What were your best/worst subjects in school?

I am a bio major right now and I wish I had all the time in the world to explore every facet of biology. Also, if I wasn't so bad at math I couldn't make it through the core classes, I'd love to study theoretical and quantum physics!

If I had the time, getting to go out on field trips to historical places would be pretty cool. It'd also be fun to learn more chemistry and physics

Languages, and lots of them! I enjoy learning more about history, psychology, sociology, anthropology (and other, similar subjects) on my own. I love living close enough to a major university to get some of the "flavor" of it — but I don't miss the pressures of academic life at all!

Definitely wouldn't mind more history. I love to learn though! I wouldn't want to go into math or any of my typical high school subject, but could always learn more in subjects like history. Right now I'm taking two separate courses, and I actually enjoy it! Lol.

My worst subject was math. Best was English.

I wish I did more science and history. There's so much to learn and so few spaces in the timetable though :/

I wish we could have learned foreign language early on from a serious teacher. Not Spanish from a lady who made us watch Selena over and over again.

I wish I was taught to read along with the introduction of another language or two.

I have so many areas of interest, that I would never run out of courses to take. I wish I had unlimited resources, then I'd hire private teachers. I could delve in as deeply as I wanted & I could go at my own pace. Even things I found boring, would be so much more interesting if tailored to me. As it is, I'm good at teaching myself, so I'm always learning something.

My best subject was biology & my worst was French.
