Every year at my college, there is a huge Seven Deadly Sins party. It is basically THE party of the year, and costumes are practically mandatory. The party is this Saturday, so I've been brainstorming costume ideas and trying to figure out what my biggest sin is :p. While I haven't figured out this year's costume, last year I dressed up as a gold digger (Greed).

So here are the questions.... What's your sin? And, for fun, how would you portray it?

For reference, the sins are:
Pride/Vanity
Greed/Avarice
Envy
Lust
Wrath
Gluttony
Sloth

I reserve the right to steal costume ideas and welcome you all to steal any of mine lol.

Some of my ideas:

Dominatrix-esque outfit - Wrath/Lust combo
Pimp (Complete with my male ho) - Greed
Candy wrapper decorated skirt and top - Gluttony

Oh wow this sounds like *so* much fun! Personally my sin is Envy, but for the sake of costumes I would go with Pride/Vanity and get all Hollywood dolled up. Blonde curly wig, fake eyelashes, fake tan, ridiculously trendy clothes.

However, your Lust costume sounds fabulous... I vote for that one.

I'd go as lust in "sexy" disheveled clothes with messed up hair and smeared makeup.

I'd go with Gluttony (my fav). Bring a big bag full of candy/chips or something.
Lots of sex would fall under Gluttony, over indulgence.

Wrath or pride/vanity. And I'd just go as myself. HAHAHHAAH!!!!! I may dress up a bit, a lot of black. My "special" outfits consist of things that may seem fairly...dark. But I find that to be attractive..on me, at least.

Platform boots, pants tucked in, button up black shirt, vest, jacket, and perhaps my spiked collar.

I was seeing pride/vanity as being the easiest to do a costume for for sure, but I guess mine would have to be sloth, since when I'm not at work all I can manage to do is sit and do nothing. And for a costume, hmm, I suppose the possibilities are endless. Random pjs, dress like a bum, turn myself into Sid, etc.

My favorite seven sins art so far is this series of seven on deviantART. I like the way associated elements are worked into the pieces. For example, lightning for wrath, a serpent for envy, etc. My favorite one from the series is Sloth, because she's just so darn cute with her feathers and bubbles.

I can't choose one sin for myself, because I feel like I'm guilty of all of them, to a moderate extent. I think dressing up as Pride would be the most fun, though. Maybe I'd tape my mouth shut, since pride is known to infringe on our ability to communicate effectively with others. Teehee--duct tape costume!

My school had one of those too - somehow there was always a lot of girls in hastily-thrown-togethe r bedsheet togas with condom packets pinned to them (lust)?

I know I'd take the chance to rock some crazy green glitter pigment eye makeup (like Ke$ha's blue eye makeup in the video for Blah Blah Blah) and go as Envy.
