I get paid from various contracting jobs via PayPal. Since it takes a while for the money to transfer over from the site to my checking account, I tend to wait until I have a larger sum of money in my PayPal account before transferring. In the meantime, I tend to find things that I want to purchase. Not just on this site, but in general. I did discover that Torrid does have a PayPal option (really, information I shouldn't have known!); but in general, many online retailers don't have an option to pay with PayPal (i.e., Amazon, Target, etc.)

So I'm wondering, how many of you get frustrated with this as well?

I don't normally have a balance in my PayPal account, but PayPal has nice protection features that cover me if I get screwed on anything, and still lets me use my credit card. I'd really like more PayPal options because even tho I'm still using a credit card, I like knowing that I never have to expose the card number to make my purchases.

I'm going to get a PayPal soon, that's why I voted other... I mainly want one for babysitting, though (if I can convince the parents to use PayPal as well). Yay for eliminating the one-check-a-week thing!

I don't ever have a balance in my PayPal account. However, I would love to see more websites using it. It has great protective features and its really convenient. I love that I don't have to worry about changing my credit card information because it comes strait out of my account.

I dont shop online often but when I do paypal is there as an option. Usually its ebay or here.. who both have paypal.

I wish more places took PayPal as well. I got scammed by a pop up a few years ago, from an other toy company. I though it was part of the toy company, and bought some magazines, at a "discounted" rate. (I know, I'm an intelligent woman, I should have know, but it looked like part of the site) and then they started billing me $50.00 every few months for each magazine. After filing repeated reports to my credit card company, I had to change credit card numbers so they would stop "billing" me for something I didn't consent to more than once. They would not have been able to do that with PayPal.

It's safe and free and I do love it, especially if you're not sure of the vendor you are using.

I really like PayPal... I have it linked w/my bank info so if I wanna buy something, I can w/o having $ in my PayPal but use my bank $. Its sooo easy to use and I would rather use it than input my bank or cc info.

I found that if you can make use of moneybookers too, they can give you a bank card. I'd love to have that from paypal but they don't do that for europeans. If you live in the USA I'd suggest you get a card from them and also opt in for money marked fund so you earn interest on the money you keep at paypal.

I know this is an old post and I dont mean to bother but I was wondering, I am also from Europe, and wanted to ask you if you have used moneybookers to purchase anything on Eden? I am considering an account.
