Should we not let large companies write off the business cost of their corp. planes?

In the presidents speech the other day, he said that we should end the tax write off for the expense of a corp. jet. Does anyone agree with this? Should we not let business write off the cost of the tools they use? Is it ok to single out one type of business, and say they cant do what every other business in America does? I get to write off my cost of doing business. Last time I checked, the government was the biggest user of private planes in the world.

diversion tactic. government and corporations are besties. biological twins even.

this is not the real issue. the real issue is much more complicated.

i recommend the movie zeitgeist. it's a total downer but unfortunately, the real deal.

There are multiple business expenses I cannot write off. So this one that is the exemplification of corporate excessive spending does not bother me. I fly all over the country commercial coach. There are very few that NEED a private jet.

what if you have meetings to go to in different cities all week. I think that a jet helps them do business. I have a work truck. If I was told to ride public buses to go and do my job, it would make it more expensive for my customers and make it a lot harder for me to run a business.
