You took a shine to the Oompa Loompa joke, eh?

I indicated that I don't use dental rinse, but that's not totally true. After I brush my teeth, I swish around all the saliva and toothpaste foam in my mouth for a minute before spitting it out.

@Vac... Of COURSE she had to shine on the oompa loompa joke! That was hysterical!

I have overly sensitive gums and even the "gentle" flosses hurt like crazy, even if I gently glide it in, so I generally only floss if I have something stuck that I can notice. I also use Listerine to help kill some of the bacteria that gets in between teeth since floss hurts so much. Even routine cleanings at the dentist are torture for me. But I go! And I have pretty healthy teeth!

I'd say I floss every other day. I used to do it everyday but I've been lazy. With this poll, I will recommit to everyday flossing! Thanks for the kick in the rump

I brush every day and rinse with a fluoride rinse. I have some teeth whitening stuff that I brush on after I brush my teeth, so sometimes I brush my teeth twice in a day. I have chipped a few teeth trying to floss, so I just pretty much avoid that. My teeth are too close together to be able to floss. I always make sure to brush my tongue, too, because my mouth just tastes so much better when I don't have a plaque covered tongue.

If I'm just staying home, I'll brush my teeth only once--at night. If I'm going out soon after I wake up, I'll brush my teeth twice that day. I don't floss, but do rinse with a mouthwash. My toothbrush has a tongue-thing on it.

This is because I hate the way toothpaste-food tastes, and for that reason alone.

Gums bleed less if you floss daily. Try it for a month and see what happens.
