I have to now. Before I hated it, but after sleeping for four years with it on, I have to. It's quiet without it and we can't sleep that way.

When its so hot as its been the last couple of nights, you bet I have it going and on high. It acts like a kind of "Woosher" and noise canceling device for meeting subtly subduing background noises both from inside and outside so I can rest peacefully. Besides, in the hot weather it also helps me to comfortably sleep.

Fan noise often distracts me, so I only use it when it's hot.
