It drives me bonkers when my husband gets home, because he cannot seem to take off his shoes after work. He has this "thing" where he cannot go barefoot or walk around in socks. He says he just "can't do it" LOL.

SO my question to you is, are you the same way? Do you HAVE to have something on your feet most of the time? If so, what do you wear?

Socks, slippers, shoes, barefoot, etc.

I like to be barefoot unless it is cold, and then I wear socks. I hate wearing shoes in the house.

I couldn't wear shoes - too uncomfortable. My feet want to be freeeeeee.

I usually wear socks, though, because my bare feet get cold easily.

If I am in the house I am almost always barefoot or in socks. I never wear shoes around the house unless I am doing something that involves me frequently going between the outside and inside.

I always wear socks, especially in winter. I used to go barefoot in the summer but having 5 cats that like to track litter has stopped me from doing so. I cannot stand shit sticking to my feet. Crumbs are the worst.

But outside, I'll go barefoot all day. I've always been barefoot outside. My friends never understood how I could run on gravel without shoes.

Yes I do, I wear my flip flops, I hate walking around in socks and no shoes are allowed in my house.

If I'm cold, I might wear slippers or socks. Keyword: "might." I really prefer to be barefoot in the house. Outside, I usually wear shoes, depending on how long I'll be out (I'm not putting shoes on for just a few minutes unless there's snow on the ground).

I used to hate putting anything on my feet, but then I got really used to slippers and if I have a choice, I'm wearing mine while at home. Otherwise in the winter I'll usually hunt down a pair of socks to keep my feet warm, and in warmer weather I'm usually wearing flip flops or going barefoot.

During the winter I pick from a couple of pairs of fuzzy inside boots.

I sooo wish that my hubby would realize there is to be NO shoes in our house too lol. He is so lazy about taking his shoes off though. Not sure why, allll our shoes are RIGHT there when he walks in the door. Its not like he can't remember to do it.

We rent, so its really driving me nuts that we're going to have to get a steam cleaner up here to take out all his trackings...grr

If I wear shoes too long, I get very uncomfortable. My feet need to breathe, for more than just the "comfort" reason.

off comes the shoes and socks the moment i step thru my door, along with the rest of my clothing ... i live alone, might as well be comfy

Barefoot is not an option with cold tile floors and cat litter bits on the floor from the cats. I always wear socks and slippers while at home, two pairs of socks in the winter time since it gets really cold here.
