Hi everyone.

For a long time, I have been a semi promoter of enjoying couples sex toys by yourself. This has stemmed from failed relationships and a willingness to explore. So, I have come up with ways to play sex games, use BDSM, sensual love products, some couples toys, and even sex furniture solo. Does anyone else do this? Do you think there is an audience for this?

Hi Heartthrob,

Yes. Sometimes the occasion/urge comes up when alone at home or partner too tired. And some people are not currently in relationships.

Pretty much all of my toys are for solo use that a partner can use on me. I never thought about what would happen to the light bondage stuff if I wasn't with my husband anymore. Makes me think

Of course. Although, a lot of our toys are used together, there are times I will use them aline to blow off steam at the end of a work day. It's only natural---and why waste what we have lol.

Don't let the marketing teams of various products get to you. Many if not all toys can either be used with or without a partner. Often I will inquire about a toy or other item to see how it can be used alone first before I introduce it to the partner. I'm actually thinking about picking up a new item that is marketed to be used alone only I am planning to interact with it while the partner is using it.

What a great topic, Heartthrob. YES - most definitely an audience! I'd like to hear how you use couples products for solo play. Anyone else that uses them solo w/o leading to partner sex, please share your ideas w/ us too.

Yes, many do it. Have solo sex. I noticed in the review section there is section for experiences. Seems some skip this part. What ? Too shy ?

I would think if one likes to read of them, should be willing to share also.

I have actually found ways to play the sensual games by myself. Just a little imagination and it works out great!

You simply use dildos in place of your partner and for positioning games, sex furniture. Follow the instructions of the game of course, but by using toys and furniture you are basically able to play the game the same.

How do you set the mood? I get very involved w/ a partner with these play options & I don't see how I can bring some of that to a solo game. Any suggestions?

Candles are good. Perfuming the air, soft music, and getting yourself ready as you always would is a good thing to do. Think pampering yourself.

Pampering, never thought about that, thanks Heartthrob. I do a couple things - play some great sexual music & wear some gorgeous lingerie. But it just isn't, well, it's just not enough. I've even watched some light porn - romantic story line. Most of the time it only arouses me when I'm not wanting to play solo, though. I do shows for my wife if im in the mood and she is too tired or working late shift. I send her pics on her phone of me having fun with a dildo or whatever. She even texts me sometimes and just tells me to go get a toy and what to do with it.

I would assume this would count under the solo sex thread. I was at work one day my wife was at home alone and in the mood. So she started texting me telling me how hot she was and simply told her in the nicest way u got toys there with u and that I would be home as soon as I got off work. Next thing I know she is sending me smoking hot pic messages of her playing with her toys on the bed. Needless to say I couldn't wait to get home to her. So yes u or anyone else can have fun with toys if ur alone or in a relationship.
