Sports bras?

Contributor: eri86 eri86
Are there sports bras that have similar lift and support to that of an under-wire bra?

I'm a C-cup, and while I'm by no means large, I don't want the 'girls' hanging low or swinging, and bouncing, around.

I ave not noticed any. What I have to do when I ride is wear a size smaller than normal. Keeps the girls from bouncing at all.....

There are a ton that are made by DD+ brands that I could give you the name of, but unfortunately, that wouldn't be of much use to you as a C. I'm commenting just to say that you shouldn't give up hope - if that sort of thing is out there for busty girls, there's no doubt that there are at least 5 times as many similar bras for those who fit into conventional sizing. When you're googling/searching, look for something called an Encapsulation bra rather than a compression bra, because those tend to be looser in small sizes, whereas an encapsulation bra separates.and supports a bit better, rather than just compressing.

I can't stand sports bras. They just push my breasts down and it hurts.

You should try looking for an encapsulation bra as well! They lift and separate rather than compressing your chest. Honestly, if I didn't need the compression, I would never choose that over encapsulation. They are so much more comfortable for anyone with more than a pound or so of breast tissue.

I have to get a size or so smaller, it's a little uncomfortable at first, and you have to make sure you aren't restricting your breathing to a dangerous point. I wear a sports bra when I'm just siting around. and even though its a good sports bra, it doesn't have the left or hold I am use to with my bras.
