I like trying on clothing and buying it. I don't go for high fashion stuff, though. I make my own style up with different pieces.

I like clothes, but not fashion if that makes sense. I don't care what anyone else is wearing, and could care less what they think about what I wear. If I'm comfortable then that's all that matters.

I love fashion. Right now it's fashion week in New York (which I've attended some of) and the looks you see on the runway end up influencing what you see in regular retail stores so even if you don't follow fashion it does determine what most people will be buying.
I don't blindly follow trends though, I wear what I like and buy a lot of vintage because I find things that are a lot more interesting than anything out there now. I view fashion as an artform and I'm interested in the details, the construction of the piece and how someone chooses to put it all together.

I hate fashion, Ive modeled and have been told what is in and blah blah blah and I hate being told what I should wear. I no longer have to do that and I am glad. I rather be simple than wearing clothes that I can only wear 2 months.

All true, but I must still admit, I enjoy dressing nicely. It just bugs me that THIS seasons "nicely" is "next seasons outdated style", so we ARE hamsters on the marketing "wheel of spending". that part DOES drive me nuts.
