I am not into the tabloids, however, I do read the covers when I am in line at the grocery store. With the inappropriate (in my opinion), pictures of a deceased Whitney Houston on the front page of the Inquirer, I am really sick to my stomach. Your opinions?

Yes, it is extremely inappropriate and disrespectful to the deceased. It really bothered me too see that picture, it was placed front and center at the checkout, there's no way to avoid it at all!

No need to read them. But I think the front covers are comical!

Only the headlines in line at the grocery store. I don't like them.

I also saw that one - that was just downright disgusting of them, even for their level.

I miss the really outrageous ones - Bat Boy, mummies on the Titantic, two-headed alien cows, the ones that you know aren't taken seriously and are fun to read.

It just occurred to me, though, that celebrity tabloid writers are frustrated fanfic authors.

I only glance at the cover if walking past check out or while in line. I used to read them but after all the bull shit that the tabloids printed about Michael Jackson I just don't care for the tabloids.

The Weekly World News with Bat Boy was wonderful - especially on the rare occasion they actually had something true slip by the editors
