My husband showed me this last night. Before he showed it to me, he said I am going to ask you a question and try not to overthink it like I just saw this woman did, because I will laugh at you. If a car is going 80 mph how long will it take you to go 80 miles? Luckily I got it immediately, but wow, this poor girl was so confused. How many of you honestly got it right?

Um... It's not that hard to figure out the answer. And I don't find it hilarious. I find it to be a rather serious statement about the efficacy of our education system and just how far we have to go as a society that people (read: women) are still expected to be so stupid.

I was not implying it was a difficult question for me, as I said, I immediately got it when my husband asked my about it. I do not think she is stupid or trying to be stupid, I think she was trying so hard to overthink the question that she missed the obvious. Now I am going to go have some fun and not worry my pretty little head about the fact that you have a different sense of humor than me.
