Time management.....How much time do you spend each day online?

Contributor: Liz2 Liz2
I am feeling overwhelmed with my job, going to the gym, and trying to get a site together and I do have limited online access at work. I totally have given up on Face Book for the time being and some other things are being neglected. So members of the EF Community...How do you do it? Some of you have blogs, a Face Book page, your own web page, EF reviews and comments, interactive sites(cam modeling) and perhaps some dating sites.
And how much time each day do you spend online?
Appreciate your comments....

I spend way too much time online but it comes and goes for me. Some days I don't turn on the computer but more then not I play all day til the kids come home. Which I guess is okay as long as I get all the household stuff done and it doesn't take away from life. It's still kinda odd for me not to be working but I'm enjoying it for now.

Let's see, I'm online for my job, for my major hobby, for my goofing off, and for my correspondence. If I'm awake, a logged in laptop is within my reach.

I probably spend way to much time online but oh well. Most of it is spent here so I only see that as a good thing.

Given that I work remotely, I spend at least 8 hours a day online. Plus there's the non work use...so yeah, I spend the majority of my time in front of the computer.

Oh god, I spend way too much time in front of the computer. But in my defense, I sort of "work" online, as you know... so even social networking (aside from EF) isn't purely for pleasure- although I do enjoy it- it's mostly for getting my name out there.

Way too much time. Not that I have anything to do really other than kill time. I read a lot of blogs and ebooks, and sink time into Farmville.

Um, yeah. I'm online more or less all day.

But that's okay, because every day I make sure that I spend time away from this co-opting, infernal machine.

It depends on the day really. A lot of times I get home from my day job and hop on the computer to try and keep up with various different things, then 3 nights a week I'm on for a good 5-6 hours at my night job. I do spend the weekends deliberately avoiding the computer, and try to do so at least one day during the week too, lol.

8+ hours a day. *sigh* The joys of working from home AND being a workaholic...

My time online definitely changes day-to-day but I decided to answer based off how much time I spent on the computer, whether or technically on the internet. But now that I'm being in-processed for a new job and applying to some full-time positions, as well as becoming more active with my friends in town, it could really cut into my EF time. But I find I just stay up later to catch up on writing my reviews, responding on the forum, reading reviews, checking recently added products, watching videos, working with my students, etc. EF makes me too happy to let my busy schedule get in the way. I've not gone a single day so far without getting on the site at least once.

I am on most of every day, but in my defense, I have a web site design business, so I am working most of that time.I usually do my FaceBook, Eden Fantasys and sites like that for late evening, after 10 pm.

I do a lot of work online, including the reviews and videos for here. I also do a lot of my homework on the computer. I tried to start a blog but it didn't work out so well...

I usually spend a lot of time online when I am not studying for my exams but often times I am on here minimum one hour a day. If I'm not browsing th web I am often checking up on school stuff online.

Most of the day I spend offline with my daughter, but seeing as I have terrible insomnia, I spend most of the night online. Having a baby kind of trained me body/mind to only need three-four hours of sleep a night.

I spend too much time on the computer. First thing I do as soon as I wake up is grab the laptop! And it's the last thing I see before bed.

My life is online. If I'm not doing something specific with the boyfriend, sleeping, working, or at class, I'm online. I like it that way too.

My job has me on the computer all day - probably 1/2 of that online. So when I need a break I check on EF forums and make entries before going back to work. I will occasional 'screen shop' the site as well.

I check Facebook 1-2x per day - but almost never post anything there. I don't have the time or interest to have an online store or blog.

I do a fair amount of exercise and do like to actually have sex - not just write about it - so those two things put a 'natural' limit to my online time.

When not at work I am always online for the most part, it's how I keep in touch with people since I'm not a phone person.

I guess I spend way too much time online! My work requires me to be online and then, when I'm not working, I tend to be online as well.
Maybe this is a problem!

I spend entirely too much time online. At night after the kids go to bed. it's really the only time I get "me" time. Facebook, and a few forums I belong to are really my only social outlet!

I do online crap before bed. That's how I manage it, by giving up sleep for it.

I'm an internet addict. It's kinda sad, but I use it for educational and entertainment purposes, so I tell myself that it's okay
