Trying to post a Video Review-Bad format?? HELP!!! :(

OK, So I was able to get approved for a video review on one of the bath and body product sets.

Did my video, added the intro file that I was sent (via Windows Movie Maker) and now the stupid thing won't upload to the EF site because it says the format isn't supported .

When I try to save it under another format, it only lists the Windows Movie Maker format. Sooooooooooo not sure how on earth to get this thing to upload. I've been sicker than a dog and then all the jazz with me being an auntie again!! (baby girl was born this afternooon weeeeeee)...its been on hold for a while. I just want to get this done, I hate not being able to do things in a timely manner LOL.

Any suggestions on how on earth to either get this to upload in the format its in OR how to change it? Anyone else that has done the video reviews-do you have any suggestions on how this works? Im soo lost.

Sorry if this is in the wrong area. I couldn't find an "appropriate" area to post it in. The review guidelines didn't look like it was for the videos- but rather the assignments? Still confused on that one.

That and I know plenty more folks would see this here than there...so Im hoping to get this resolved asap. Sorry if this goes elsewhere

Hi Cmex I can help you with this, it's just going to take me a moment to refresh myself on the program you're using.

Can you drop me an email at rayne at edenfantasys dot com? In the email, please tell me exactly what you're doing. For example, are you using Windows Movie Maker or Windows Live Movie Maker (it makes a difference)? What file type are you trying to save in? What file type is the video already saved in? And how long is it?

Hey Cmex,

The wmv (windows media video) format that windows live movie maker saves in should upload to the site just fine. It's actually what most people use.

Is it possible that your file exceeds the file sizes allowed?

No, its only a few minutes long Carrie Ann. Not sure why but its still not working. Had hubby look it over and he still cannot figure it out either. He said that I have to use a program or something to transfer the file into a different format. What a mess I feel like such a boob, its going to end up taking a MONTH just for my first video review! LOL. To top things off, Somehow, I lost the darn video that I did, so I have to re-do it and then try to figure out how to get it posted together with the intro LMAO! Im going to be sending Rayne a few screenshots of what I am doing and an email...maybe she can figure it out. I have had you, and JR tell me how to do this and its not coming up like you guys are saying it should. Maybe I don't have the same version you all do? I dunno. Hopefully Rayne can help me out
