TV while sleeping

There is no way I could sleep with the TV on - even muted. Unless I'm already totally exhausted.

I don't really mind if it's on and I've dozed off. these things happen after all, haha. when I go to bed at night, though, I turn off all electronics.

I like a little bit of light, but TV is too much.

Whenever I'm taking a nap it usually helps me to have it on in the background, but not when I'm going to sleep for the night. The lights tend to mess with my head.

My partner works graveyard so I'm usually home alone when I'm trying to sleep so I'll turn Netflix on and turn the timer on the TV. The background noise helps me sleep. If it's too quiet, I start to freak out and get paranoid.

I could sleep either way, but I shut it off because there's no point to it being on if I'm not paying attention to it.

It's a waste of electricity! And I don't get a sound amount of sleep if I am sleeping with the TV on - I almost always wake up!

I can fall asleep on the couch in front of the tv if I'm really tired, but can't go to bed with it on. It also drives me nuts when people turn off the tv by turning off the cable/dvd but not the tv set itself. I can hear that electronic high pitched noise and don't get how it doesn't bug the crap out of everyone else too.

My boyfriend often watches tv while I sleep, so I don't mind it being on either way, as long as it's not too loud.

No TV when I'm sleeping! Music, silence, or fan sounds only.

I like it off. The only time I like it on when trying to sleep is when I'm restless and my mind is racing with to many thoughts stressing me out. I usually watch a couple of comedies until I'm distracted and sleepy once more.
