I was watching Herman Cain on a number of talk shows last weekend and again this morning (Sunday). I THOUGHT I really liked him (very fiscally bright), then he started speaking in very "no compromise" terms about social issues, and even though I tend to be conservative on some things, he TOTALLY lost me.

Darn if I am not back to square zero about who to vote for next time around.

Anyone have any opinion about Herman Cain, since he is like on every talk show this weekend?

Eh, he's one of the candidates I'm looking at along with 1 other. He's an odd one to figure, he seems objected to certain views I'm all for but also doesn't seem to push most of them to the extent that I feel he'd try and pass bills about them. I appreciate his honesty and his ability to not give a shit what everyone thinks about him, and he has that squeaky clean untouchable record!

But...again...those views!

he'll be gone by Thanksgiving. he's not campaigning much more than the occasional stop, he's only been to iowa once since the august straw poll and his opinions on abortion don't go along with the more conservative republican primary electorate.
