Weekend plans

I'd visit if I could! We'd have a blast

Hahahaha. Our plumbing is frucked up. The well pump went into overdrive, popping weak links all over the house yesterday. I got home from errands and heard the toilet running and thought, "Nobody is home. Why is that toilet running." Then I realized ALL the faucets had high pressure (it's an old house and we usually have really sad water pressure most of the time) and the seal had been blow on our downstairs toilet. Called My Man and when he came home, he realized the well pump wasn't shutting off, and there was so much pressure coming from the well (which is in our front yard and runs on electricity to get it into the house and keep the water going) that it was going to blow. All the excess water was being diverted BACK into the well, which is very very bad.

He turned everything off. UG. We have been turning it on so we can flush toilets and get some water for washing. But, no baths showers etc today. Waiting for the Well Pump Guy, as he will need to pull 80 feet plus of well pipe out of our front yard well, and we can't do that ourselves.

It's gonna be disgusting, expensive and probably take all weekend. I'm only on the net now, because there is NOTHING to do. No laundry, no dishes, no washing and we're just waiting for the Well Pump Dude to show up and maybe dig up our front yard, if he can't get to the Check Valve or it's something else.

It's always something when you own a house. We were going to just hang out, do laundry, and play this weekend. Now, this shit happens.

I want a shower SO badly.

My plans for this weekend include watching my man fix his work truck, which was totally unplanned.. He left for work this morning, then came back 2 minutes later saying he had no brakes. Apparently he's leaking break fluid and all sorts of other stuff.. so I get to "supervise," as he calls it. Which roughly translates to me sitting near the truck, surfing the web on my phone, and handing him a tool if he needs it. WOOHOO.

Did I mention I'm sick and had to call out of work today?

As long as I'm not deathly ill, I plan on re-arranging my bedroom, doing a couple reviews, and filming my first video review. I'm most excited about the latter, needless to say. Can't wait for you guys to see it

Other than that, I have no idea.

I am having a 'reunion' with my guys at my university. Many of my original guy friends from college graduated and didn't go onto their masters, but I did so I'm still there with only 2 others from our original group. We threw the biggest funnest parties every week, so we get together every once in awhile to do it again. This weekend is homecoming so it'll be crazy. With the stress of graduate school, I need to kick back this weekend!

In the down time, I'll be catching up on working out, cleaning, and getting over this stupid cold!

Not much, exept sorting through pallets of stuff for care packeges for the troops. I have 17 pallets of stuff that has been stored in the barn for the past few weeks, that was all donated. So tonight, tommorow and probably sunday me and others that volunteer for the non for profit group will be sorting that out. Of course my house becomes that majic place to do that all at. Its spose to all be sent to afgansitan tuesday.

So once thats dont hopefully a little time to relax.

You got that right! In Colorado there was some red and orange but mostly there was yellow, the Aspen's are truly like gold veins in the mountains.
