As I get older and older I see more of my parents in me everyday

my father really instilled excepting people for who they are and I would like to think I gained that trait for him but I also have gained the trait of living to much in the past

my Mom's traits that I have gained is the love for organization & also the need to please others

I really see alot of my step father instilled in me (he has been in my life since I was 2) I gained his OCD/Hatred for social activities

do you see traits in yourself that you gained from watching your parents interact?

She and I are alike in practically every way, actually...

I don't know much about my father, and what I know I don't like, so I don't want to be anything like him...to me it's bad enough I have his last name and nose

I wont read instructions either I just wing it

as for looks my mom always says I have my dad's eyes the few times she has said it she gets a twinkle in her eye and a silly smile like a teenager its the only thing good she has ever said about him and its the only way I can tell they were ever once in love

Appreciating solitude from my dad. Most all of my neuroses from my mom. Critical thinking from ex-step-father. Didn't get much from ex-step-mother except the desire to sprinkle sunflower seeds on spaghetti. Although my mother says I most resemble her sister, even though I've never been around my aunt all that often - the snarky, bitchy, creative, surreal traits, but without the bipolar to go with it.

All of my less than desirable traits came from my parents. All of the good traits came from outside influences.

I have my dad's willingness to help people out. I use my ability to tolerate people I do not like for my job--that is toned down from my mom.
