What do you call it? Pop? Soda? Soda Pop? Sody Pop?

I call it pop, always have. I always get into the discussion about what its called. People at work tell me its soda and a friend from Arkansas says they are all called Coke.

Lol...it is that way here. Took me forever to get used to that after moving from northeast, where we called it soda

I'm from the Pacific Northwest and I usually call it soda. Occasionally, I use pop. It's not something I pay much attention to.

I'm from PA and I've called if soda and pop... it just depends on what comes out of my mouth at the moment (though usually it is pop over soda).

I call it soda ._. because it is... pop reminds me of the very... er illiterate batch of people I used to live around in the boonies and they'd call it pop and I'd have no idea wtf they were talking about.

The whole coke thing inspires my inner asshole to make fun of someone and ignore their request for a mountain dew coke and bring them coca cola.
