Besides the obvious two things (sleep & have sex), of course. I know some people who do a lot of their daily routines in bed -- work, reading, crossword puzzles, laundry folding, etc. -- and others who swear off the bed for anything other than its intended purpose.
I'm somewhere in the middle. Since my computer desk is in my bedroom, and I often retreat in here even with my laptop, I have no qualms about cozying up under the sheets in the middle of the afternoon, even if I have no plans for a nap and instead plan on blogging or catching up on email!
It hurts my neck to read in bed, or I'd do it all the time! Another thing that's out of the question is eating in bed. Crumbs lead to ants and I am not willing to go through a buggy bed (again). My favorite thing to do in bed is to chat. Maybe it's due to the fact that neither of us wants to hang out in the living room and there's only one chair in the bedroom, but there's something really cozy about just catching up while sitting on the bed.
My other is playing together. We'll sometimes play with her stuffed animals together, or she'll play with them on my chest. We also watch movies sometimes, even though that's generally short lived because we end up making love during... We cuddle a lot too in bed, and talk like Miss Cinnamon does with her partner. We generally talk the most after making love or if we're not in the mood.

Awww. Stuffed animals ^__^ I wish I still had some of mine. I don't think the boy would want to play with them, but still... Do you ever make your blankets into a "tent" over your head while you talk/cuddle/play?

Yes, stuffed animals. She has one called Catshrimp, I designed it for her. She puts her hair ribbons on its ears and laughs because Catshrimp is a boy. She also has one called Jelly that jingles so she likes that one. And it depends. Sometimes, yes. I end up tickling her though and she wiggles away.

I agree with MuffysPinguLove--too adorable for words!
I used to do a lot more in my bed, but that was before we had furniture. (So *that* doesn't sound pathetic at all.) Now I mostly just sleep, nap, or do sexy things in it. The living room contains most of the rest of my time. The bed is our place of the Lemurs, though. All of our Lemurs are always in the bed. Well, not *all*. That'd be too many.
Our bedroom is sort of like our private vacation "lair", so we do a lot of things in bed. The rule is, anything done in there has to be either fun or relaxing. In other words, no bills, no folding laundry, no arguments or weighty discussions, and no laptops unless we're either surfing the Internet together or writing for EF (LOL!).
We're fussy about our bed and bedroom period. It's our haven from the world, no TV, no reading, nothing like that at all, though we do talk and discuss things. It's our zone to reconnect each morning, evening and, sometimes, in the middle of the day.
I do all of the above, plus eat and knit in bed sometimes. I'm like Vera Wang who said she does everything she possibly can in bed. I'm in bed right now!

A lot of times Kris and I will just kinda hang out in bed and discuss our day. The only rule I have ever been able to make, we do NOT have a TV in our room. I have always felt that having a TV would take away from the intimacy of that being our space to just be with each other. We do however sometimes tote the laptop in there to watch porn or read the forums together.
I didn't check the first option because that's not "it" for me.
I've spent plenty of time in my bed talking to friends, eating, doing word searches, finishing my homework, surfing the internet, masturbating, whatever. I've tried to do the "spend all day in bed" thing, but it usually gets the best of me after 5 or 6 hours.
We've invested a ton of money in a comfy mattress, sheets and blankets. I spend a lot of my day in my bedroom, if I'm not cleaning other areas of the house. We don't trust the kids with the expensive television, game systems and computers just yet so they're all in our room. Our room is kind of huge though, so it kind of doubles as a living area and everyone hangs out in here all day. There is a lock on the bedroom door so that my husband and I can have privacy to talk, have sex or just cuddle and watch a movie anytime we want though.

Same here. When we got married Sigel had only one decorating demand...no tv in the bedroom. He watched it ruin too many relationships as far as he is concerned the bedroom is for sleeping and reconnecting nothing else. Arch is more flexible but even he can see the benefits to leaving the tv in the livingroom.
Jeez I live in a small dorm room so I do pretty much everything in my bed. Honestly I'd rather just use it for sleep, sex, and cuddling but I don't have much of a choice right now.

LOL! Its been a few years, but I remember my year in a single dorm room. EVERYTHING happened in bed. Holy crap. EVERYTHING.
In addition to sleeping, cuddling, sex, masturbating and hanging-out while chatting with my partner, I spend a lot of time playing with/tormeting/petting my cats on my bed.
Since I dorm I do most everything in my bed. I do have a desk in my room, but it's usually covered in textbooks/papers/etc to actually be functional as a workspace.
