My desk always seems to be trashed, but aside from the cups, snack wrappers and scap papers, I have:

My computer, speakers, mouse, photo, and a mini organize for pens and suck.

My desk at my night job is pretty cluttered too. I've got the computer, speakers, mouse, a lamp (sometimes the power goes out or I want there to be less overall light than the overheads), and a whole bunch of snacks.

My desk has sex toys, water, a notepad, and a small container of cheerios to snack on.

My desk has my printer, a bunch of art, a note from my grandma who passed away and pens/pencils. I keep my desk pretty organized I'm a bit OCD that way.

I always admire people who can keep their desks clean. It makes for a better work environment too.
