Sometimes, I wonder things, seemingly silly things--things that seem like "unique" thoughts to me. But when I confess them to friends or my partner, sometimes I'm surprised that they, too, have had the same kinds of thoughts. For example...

"How many people in the world are having sex right now? And of those, how many are doing it for the first time?"

"How many people are dying right now?" and then, "How many are being born?"

"How many people are laughing at this moment?"

"How many people will get their first kiss today?"

Maybe if I'm walking down a street, I'll think "How many people have lived on this street since it was first paved? And before that?"

My wonderings go on and on and on...

I think stuff like that all the time. Or I wonder if anyone is wondering what I am doing at a particular time. Or I wonder if anyone is wondering if someone else in the world is wondering about wondering people. Yes, I know, I'm weird. But I'm ok with that.

My mind has nothing better to do than wonder all the time! Sometimes I wish I could turn it off. I wonder of good and bad also. My biggest wonder is why do things have to be so difficult sometimes? I wander if my mother is in heaven watching over me with my grandmother and I wish I could just talk to them sometimes. I wonder why my husband and I just cannot seem to get along....oh thats not a good thing, but it's true! Does everything happen for a reason or is that just a saying like all the other famous quotes in the world? I wonder if he would cheat on me? I guess I am insecure

I wonder about things like politics and what people are thinking based on their actions. I wonder about ways to make the world a better place, ways to change people in order to make them better than they are. I do not wonder about the things you wonder about, however.

I most definitely wonder if someone is, indeed, wondering what I am wondering at that very moment. Usually, this is me wondering if anyone is wondering if anyone else is wondering. And I want to be all like, "Hey! Me too! I am!"

LOL Sounds like a line one of my stoner friends said in high school! (She also said 'Hey, do you know you're you? That's very important, don't you think?')

I wonder if I'll ever get my divorce over and done with. I wonder if I'm ever going to be emotionally healthy enough to find someone else who's emotionally healthy. I wonder why some people place politics over family and friends to the point of abandoning the latter when they don't agree. I wonder how hate can be focused so easily by groups, but love takes so much longer to implement. I wonder if we'll ever get over ourselves enough to see that there's more Out There than us ...

Yes, I see that you are the one I was wondering about and thinking that you might be wondering if I was wondering what you were wondering. Hahaha. Thanks for making me know that I am NOT the only one and that I'm not so weird after all.

Wonderballs were my babysitter when my dad had migraines when I was younger. He'd buy me about 3 of them, then let me watch TV in the living room while he laid down. It provided food, a ball, and a toy, so he was gauranteed a few hours of silence
