What is one sentimental item that you own?

I was looking around today for cookware that used to belong to my great grandmother. I couldn't find it and I was crushed. This is one of my few sentimental items.

My most sentimental item is a ring from my mother. It means the world to me.

Do you have one?

I have a few.
A gem bracelet my father gave me when I was 13
A diamond from my grandmother that has been in my family for more than 5 generations
And a hanging Kookaburra, that was in my nursery, that will go in my kids nursery as well.

It used to be a cabbage patch doll from my grandmother and one of my mothers rings but those got lost during various moves.
Now it's a plushie my mom won me from a crane game (first try too) on my 19th birthday and the collar&tag of my passed on furbaby (my cat Gypsy).

A Native American bear pendent that my grandmother wore. We shared it when she was alive and had it at her bedside when she died, so it has a certain energy that I can't explain.

A photo album of summer camp photos. In hindsight, I wasn't having as much fun as I thought I was but it was the biggest event of the year for me, for several years.

As stupid as it sounds one of my baby blankets that I have had since I was 3 it has been through hell and if completely falling apart my Pawpaw gave my mom the money to get me a new one since my first one couldn't be saved my mom tried. To this day I STILL sleep with that blanket no matter where I am at and who I am sharing the bed with. My ex tried telling me it was nasty and needed to be trashed, yes it has stains on it and gets washed here an there cause if it gets washed too much it will be in worse condition then it already it.

I have some notes sent from little brother (for many years, I took care of him as if he were my own kid - mother wasn't great, dad had to move away for work) to me during my first year of college, when I was having a hard time with homesickness and anxiety. I get all teary-eyed just thinking of them.

I lost a lot of my most sentimental items. I used to make yarn pillows when I was about 15 and when my mom moved, they got tossed out. I've lost so many items that were dear to my heart...
